In Germany, bread is more than just a food - it is a part of the German culture. Germany produces more varieties of breads than any other country, with over 300 varieties of dark and white breads and over 1,200 varieties of rolls and mini-breads.
Laugenring also has the same passion for its bakery, and wishes to continue this culture, which has been a part of our family in Germany for many years. Now, we want to share this culture with the Australian public and bring you the best of what Germany has to offer.
We believe a loaf of perfect bread, white, sweet, tender and elastic, with a golden brown crust, is evidence of a superior education and the basis of all good nourishment. This is why we bake just like in Germany and make breads and pastries like they did centuries ago, with an extensive range of breads to suite every taste.
The two things that are especially important for good bread is lightness and sweetness and this is why, we make traditional sourdough breads which are famous for their hearty texture and rich taste.
All our products are freshly baked and sold that day, which include our mouthwatering range of traditional loaves and breads, most famous and popular seeded rolls, including sunflower seeded rolls, poppy seed rolls, pumpkin seed rolls, whole grain rolls, German pretzels, 100% butter croissants, and our deliciously yummy sweet and savoury pastries. Plus we make a variety of delicious sandwiches using our fresh crispy breads.
